FREE BEGINNER-FRIENDLY BDSM GUIDE
No dungeon required.
Jay-Jay here. YouTube took one look at our episode ‘How To Explore Beginner-Friendly BDSM’, which involved two fully-clothed women on a bed talking about consent, and decided it was too much for them. So here we are, somewhere a little braver.
The word “BDSM” makes a lot of people picture dungeons, latex, and something faintly terrifying. That was me. But now I have learned that it’s mostly… a conversation.
You don’t need a dungeon, a leather wardrobe, or a suitcase of toys to begin. It starts with the energy, slowing right down, asking permission, taking the lead or handing it over. And the safety bit (consent, a safeword, a check-in) isn’t the boring admin before the fun. It is the fun. You can only really let go when you feel completely held.
If you’ve ever been secretly curious but a bit scared of exploring further, this one’s your gentle on-ramp.
